Internship
Our in-house internship program helps students to gain professional insights and bridge the gap between the academia and industry. As we all know that the academic course provides a strong foundation in different areas to the students. However, practical exposure on latest industry trends is equally important for students to get placement after the completion of their degree. Therefore students at Divya Gyan join the internship program designed by the college to enhance their practical skills.
The first step in the in-house internship program starts with the professional training. Once the training is finished by the student. We evaluate the knowledge of the student. If their basic foundation is good and they are ready for the next step then college will provide in-house internship opportunity in the following areas mentioned below:
Application development
Students are asked to develop application under the supervision of the intern supervisor in one of the programming languages of their interest.
- Java
- ReactJS
- MERN
- Python
- Dart with Flutter framework
- PHP/ MYSQL
Software Testing
Those student who are interested in the area of quality assurance will be asked to work on different project where they will design test cases and test the developed applications. Students will be taught to use different testing strategies along with automation and api testing during their internship period.
Networking and system administration
Those students who are interested in the area of networking and system administration will be given the operating knowledge of Cisco router and switches. We also have been providing Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) course. Students are also referred to various ISPs to start their internship journey in the area of networking. For those who are interested in system administration will be provided operating knowledge of windows and Linux server.
Digital Marketing
Students who are interested to do internship in digital marketing will be assigned to promote different websites. During their internship period they will implement the knowledge of SEO as well as social media. Students will also get an opportunity to use the tools that are used for SEO and social media.
UI, Graphic & Multimedia
Students who are interested in the area of User Interface design will work on tools like Figma to design different web interfaces keeping user experience in mind. Students are taught all the process that is necessary to create a good user experience. Students enrolled in Graphic Design will undergo through various tools like Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. They will be mostly designing logo, brochures, banners, magazines etc.
Those students who successfully complete their 3 months of internship period and demonstrate sufficient skills to work will be promoted to the next level of paid internship. In paid internship we will provide a monthly stipend which will be enough to cover their daily food and travel expenses.
