Teaching Methodology

We at Divya Gyan College have adopted a hybrid teaching methodology, both in terms of curriculum and teaching styles.

Starting with the curriculum, the modules covered each semester at Divya Gyan College are not limited to the curriculum prescribed by Tribhuvan University. In addition to the academic prescription from the university, the college has several non-credit vocational courses that the students can opt into for their overall professional development.

On top of that, the variety in teaching styles comes from the fact that the students are not just taught in the confines of the classroom but also through on-site tasks and projects in a professional environment. Both of these hybrid approaches were primarily designed to enhance the chances for our alumni to achieve their professional ambitions with relative ease.

There are four distinct aspects to the teaching methodology that we have devised for the students at Divya Gyan College.

Step I: Curriculum

We have an excellent faculty with years of academic and industry experience. They share their professional experiences, which help students internalize theoretical knowledge as prescribed by the university. Additionally, the classes are equipped with multimedia projectors, which help the trainers better conceptualize the subjects through audiovisual and multimedia presentations.

Step II: Non-credit Courses

Our courses are not limited to the 4-year syllabus. We have refined our methodology to engage students in different non-credit courses during the 4-year period. Students will be involved in professional courses to prepare them for the workforce better. Our workshops help the students get essential practical and technical knowledge from various field experts.

Step III: Internships

We have established relationships with different industries where we place our students for internships. Divya Gyan College is promoted by a group of professionals who are engaged in various business organizations, such as Software Companies, Training Institutes, Banks, Hotels, Public Relations Management, Media, and Human Resource Organizations. Divya Gyan College has also started in-house internship opportunities for students who want to gain industry exposure during their studies.

Step IV: Placement

At the final stage, we help our students get jobs in different industries based on their interests and expertise. Even after the placements, the college and the faculty here support the students with valuable guidance and insight to ensure a smooth academic-to-professional transition.
